Who are we?
Welcome to the association of Christians Venner (Christian’s Friends).
Christian helps women who are in forced prostitution. Last year Christian helped Rose from Nigeria to acheive asylum in Denmark. He is currently supporting another woman, Lisa, in her efforts to escape her traffickers – and other victims are in close contact with Christian every day.
Christian works on a private basis. Therefore, his effort to help these women puts him under economic as well as personal stress.
Christian’s Friends began as a support group in the spring of 2008. The group members were Christian’s personal friends, whom he turned to, as the work with the women became too much for him to cope with alone.
Christian’s Friends has now consolidated into an association, which is helping Christian with advice and relief and also does fundraising in order to support Christian economically.
Christian’s Friends is working to strengthen and coordinate efforts against trafficking in Denmark. Together with Reden International (The Nest International), we have tried to join the forces in Denmark that are working actively against human trafficking

We have created this site to spread the word about Christian and his efforts to help victims of sex trafficking - and to let you know how you can help!
It is very expensive to help and assist a trafficked woman. Christian is paying for food, accommodation and clothing. But he is also paying considerable amounts to ensure the women's families in their home countries.
Six to eight women. This is the average number of trafficked women who comes to see Christian – every night. They come to his home for a shower, a meal or medical care, to have a confidential talk or they come just to rest and feel confident and free – if only for a while.
Christian has no longer time to hold a paid job, because of the great demand for his help.
But he needs help too. Christian needs financial means to carry on.
Financial help will allow Christian to focus on what he does best, namely supporting victims of trafficking 24/7. He can give them a safe haven until they dare seek help from official channels, such as Reden and The Danish Red Cross. Eventually, we hope that the women will find courage to help the Danish police to prosecute those who profit from forced prostitution.
The funding provided by Christian's Friends will be a significant help to Christian, the women and their effort to stay underground – hidden from the criminal networks that enslaved the women in the first place. All donations go into an account registered in the name of Christians Venner and to which only Christian has access. It is a simple and efficient way to make a monumental difference.
